"I've never been more disappointed in a red envelope product. Very upset with the money I spent on these terrible toppers. The entire surface is scraped off after 2 uses. Do not buy."

VERY disappointed/ DO NOT buy! April 24, 2014
"Several friends had purchased golf link toppers from Red Envelope and were very satisfied so I decided to get some for my husband and myself. Little did I know that Red Envelope had changed their toppers by the time I sent in my order. My friends' toppers were recessed and the engraving was about 1/4 of an inch below the top lip of the rim, thereby preventing contact with any other surface. My toppers were flat and the "engraving" (more like "stamping") started to wear off within a couple of weeks of use. What a waste of money!! (I have since found the recessed-type toppers at another store and will be ordering them from there.)"

Great Idea, poor quality April 24, 2014
"The personalized golf link toppers were given to me by my son as a Christmas present. They were very nice and expensive looking. When the weather got a little warmer I installed the toppers in each of my clubs. The second 18 holes I played I noticed they were already beginning to show wear. By the end of another round several of the toppers were unreadable. I am very careful with my golf clubs. I'm sure my bag is as soft and protective as any on the market but in just 4 rounds of golf the toppers looked like a "scratched up penny". Like I said in the title, great idea/very nice looking but will not hold up. I hope Red Envelope will change the painted on lettering to an embossed or engraved lettering. Also the metal needs to be much harder than what seems to be something as soft as copper."

Think Twice Before You Buy April 18, 2014
"These do make a great FIRST impression, although they are printed and not engraved they still LOOK good. BUT after only a couple of uses, the text wears off and it just looks like a dirty smudge. Here is why: Golf clubs are stored in a golf bag, to be taken out for use on a particular hole and put back in to travel to the next....the club heads stick out of the bag and the grips slide into the bag, so these toppers are what the clubs rest on in the bottom of the bag. Because they are printed and not engraved, they wear easily. If the company ever engraves, I would consider a purchase but not until then, especially at this price."

Poor Quality February 26, 2014
"Don't waste your money. These are different than they were before, not nearly the same quality. Seems they spent more money on the boxing than producing the product. Mine from the past were etched and recessed in, not like the new ones I bought for my wife being just painted on flat stock. Can already figure they will wear off in a short time. Look very cheap."

They Lasted 1 round January 10, 2014
"Bought the black colored ones as a present for my father and they lasted ONE round of golf. They are not engraved (I understand it doesn't say they are)- they are cheaply printed on monograms that do not last. The printing rubbed off from being held in his bag, being pulled out of his bag and put back in his bag. These are cheaply made - DO NOT BUY! reference the picture."
