"We received this as a gift and were very pleased with the size and extra large juice moat. It's a beautiful solid wood board, but after just a few uses, the board has developed many splits where the different layers join. This could be because we hadn't seasoned the board ... but, I would have expected to see some stickers/warnings/instructions etc. about seasoning before use."

"I bought this for a thank you gift after my family opened their home for me, my husband and two children while on vacation in Florida. They were superb hosts so I wanted to thank them in a memorable way. They were very happy with the personalized cutting board and matching dish towels. They mentioned that the gifts were so beautifully wrapped that they almost didn't want to open them! My only negative is that although the logo's were the same on the board and on the towels, the personalization did not match. One forced all lowercase letters and the other forced all caps. Wished those were the same. Regardless, the gift was a hit! Thank you, Red Envelope, for making the gift so memorable and unique!"

"I bought this for a friend's anniversary, and it turned out beautiful, she loved it. My only complaint when I saw it was that the engraving wasn't very dark as it appears to be on the photo online. But the color of the wood board it self is light so u can still see the engraving clearly, but that's why I took one star away. Still a really nice gift"

Solid, heavy, big and looks terrific This board is one terrific piece. We ordered the elk emblem and it looks fantastic. The custom lettering is clear (with plenty of contrast in my opinion), and the quality of the board is outstanding. I think I was expecting something less-than and 'cute,' but this is a huge winner in our book and extremely well crafted. We purchased this for a family friend who is a hunter. Figured he's a butcher too, so this gift was perfect.
