"I bought this for my husband for our 25th anniversary. He really liked it, I thought the quality was nice, but opening it was not easy. The directions that is comes with aren't very precise, so it took some doing to get it opened, even for my husband who is mechanically inclined. Overall, I was happy with it and thought it was a nice gift."

"My Godson LOVED this gift for his 1st Communion. It was a bit annoying trying to open it however, but once you figure it out (you pull out on the top round knob to separate the flip-open top part and you do the same to close it) it's fine. It is a fingerprint/smudge magnet as well but none of this takes away from the excitement of the person receiving this great gift."

"As per other reviews this piece is a little larger than it appears and although it states it is stainless steel it feels somewhat lightweight and "flimsy". On the other hand it is a nice looking piece and an original type of gift. Jury still out."

"The compass is a good size, it fits easily into the palm of an adult hand. The finish on it is lovely, an all-metal exterior and the engraving is a nice touch. Great Anniversary Gift This compass was just the right thing to get my husband for our 10th Anniversary. It's really quite beautiful and the personalization made it even more special. He was quite surprised and just loved it!
