"bought this as a gift for my fiance and he loved the idea of not carrying a huge wallet every day. but the money clip is useless. at first, it was tight enough to hold a normal amount of pocket cash. but after only a few weeks, it became so loose it wouldn't hold any money. then the money clip completely fell off the card with the engraved message, so it doesn't work at all. i wish i hadn't wasted my money on this product and i am embarrassed by the worthless gift."

"Bought this for my boyfriend's birthday in November; He loved it and the quality was very nice. Unfortunately the hinges holding the clip became very loose after a couple of months and about three weeks ago the clip broke off the metal message portion that goes inside the wallet. He was very upset about it because he really loved the product. Wouldn't recommend it for someone looking for a long-lasting and durable clip."

"I have purchased many items through redenvelope and have always been pleased with the product. A few months back I had purchased the money clip for my husband. He was very happy with the gift and loved the meaningful engraved message, however on his third use the clip broke. Both of us were upset considering it was fairly new still. I am hopeful to find someplace that can repair the clip and put in a new screw, which we later found out had fallen out...good luck finding that tiny screw!"

"This was one of my boyfriend's Christmas gifts this year and he LOVED it! The personalization was the perfect touch. The leather is good quality and the money clip does not feel cheap. My only issue is you have to use both pieces together, not just the metal money clip part. I did not notice in the pictures or in any reviews that there is no spring. My boyfriend obviously does not care since he puts cards in the leather pouch. I think the product would be better with a spring catch on the metal clip. I would highly recommend this to anyone though! I love it, he loves it, and I love that he loves it."

Great Gift!! I bought this for my fiance for Valentine's Day. He loved it. He hates carrying a wallet so this is perfect and he loved the personal message that is hidden on the clip as the clip fits into the leather card holder. It is made of quality componants which made me look like I knew what I was doing. Thanks Red Envelope!! I'm looking for a birthday gift now.
