"Yes, these are delicate earrings in the sense that they are small, but that makes them classy and tasteful with just the right amount if bling compared to the cheap, blaring initial earrings in retail boutiques. My husband bought me these for Christmas, and I wear them alone or in my second holes when I wear other earrings but want a more fun look. I would definitely recommend these even for younger ladies--perhaps the earring size would suit them well too."
