"I loved this necklace for the first few months but it quickly tarnished. Unfortunately, it is impossible to clean inside the pod because the pearls must be treated so delicately (e.g., no chemical cleaning agents). I even took the necklace to a jeweler to clean but they were unwilling to even attempt anything other than gently brushing around the pearls. They even recommended replacing the pearls with a more durable stone so the pendant could be routinely cleaned. So now my 3 little peas are stuck in a peapod that looks like it hung around on the vine too long."
