"After reviewing countless picnic baskets & bags online, I chose Red Envelope because of previous reviewers' comments about quality, space & the fact it was for four place settings, not just two. I gave it to a friend for her birthday and she loves it! I just don't feel there is enough storage room for food. The utensils take up most of the space in the backpack & the pocket for food is quite small. This is perfect for perhaps a morning or afternoon tea/snack, not a full lunch or dinner. Love the blanket and bottle holder on the side!"

perfect picnic 'basket'! I had been searching for a picnic basket, and I found this one just in time to give it to my husband for Christmas. I was so excited that I gave it to him almost a month early! I think it's one of the best-equipped 'baskets' I've seen (service for 4 rather than 2) and I love that it's a backpack, so it's much easier to carry than a traditional basket. The price is also a lot lower than most of the baskets we'd looked at in the past. It has everything we'd been looking for, including an insulated compartment for food (not all of them do).
