"The design is really cool, and the monogramming was correct. However, they are really lightweight and the quality of the pattern stamped into the wood is poor. One of our logos is off center so part of it goes off the edge of the coaster. I will definitely use them for decoration, but I would hesitate to put a heavy glass on them for fear they might break."

"We received this coaster set as a gift. I wanted to purchase another set and I'm a little surprised at the cost. Seems a little pricey, so that's why I give them a 4 star rating instead of 5 star. But I do like the personalization on them. I read the other reviews about the coasters not having a coating to absorb condensation from drinks. I haven't noticed any leakage around the coaster to indicate that. Maybe I haven't had a really icy drink on them yet. But overall I think they are an attractive item for our bar area."

"I agree completely with the other reviewers. These "coasters" are more like plates: there is absolutely nothing on them to absorb any moisture from a beer glass or any other drink placed upon them. In fact, my husband has been flipping them over so as not to ruin the personalization. Definitely needs either non-slip and/or moisture-absorbing product on them before truly being called coasters. VERY expensive - nicely personalized, but not recommended for its intended, actual use unless you're OK w/spending that high amount for a truly non-functional, decorative item."
