"This gift was for my 72 year old Father - who is quite the history buff. I was a great gift, however, I thought it was going to be a book that had the Washington Post page for EACH YEAR starting from his birthdate, 9/15/1942 to present, not just a summary of major events during 1942 and then the actual Washington Post from his birthdate. I propose that the former would be a great option for the "year" addition, no?"

"We actually purchased this with my in-laws anniversary date. They have been married 65 years, so really they have "everything". The book is great and I can't wait to give it to them. Only drawback is the print is REALLY tiny so don't expect to actually READ much. Great sentiment though!"

"I ordered this book for my husband's 70th b-day to arrive the day before. It arrived on time, but the personalization I requested wasn't THERE. I immediately called customer service and they refunded by order. So disappointed as this was to be the best gift ever for my newspaper reading husband. Doubt I'll order from this company again."

"We have a friend who has everything. This was a great Birthday gift. Everyone loved looking at the articles and especially looking at the ads and prices for items from the year our friend was born and some of us were also. it was great to be able to personalize this gift to make it extra special. Couldn't have been a better gift. However, make sure that you order early as this item took longer than advertised to arrive. We were lucky that we did, our item arrived just a day before the Birthday Party."
