"It is a beautifully crafted item but I don't think the sound is much different than if you just used your speaker on your phone. Price is too much for what it is, I am returning itme very dissappointed. :-( The only thing it would be good for is a good conversation piece on your desk. I do LOVE Red Envelope though."

"I bought this for my husband for Christmas, as this type of thing is right up his alley. He loves it, the speaker works well, and it fits the iPhone 5 very nicely (even with the slim case he has on it). The sound doesn't seem affected by which surface it's placed on, and I know it'll get lots of use on my husband's desk at work, or thrown into his luggage on trips. Very cool :)"

"We bought this for our daughter who has an itouch device - not an iPhone. It does not work with the itouch at all - just an FYI. It does work for the iPhone but I'm not certain it is worth the cost."
