"This item is not of the quality that I was expecting. In addition, the monogram was barely visible. I purchased a companion piece earlier this year and was very happy with it but this piece, although much more expensive, was really not up to the usual high quality one has come to expect from Red Envelope."

"I bought this duffle bag for my husband's birthday, and I am absolutely thrilled with the quality of the leather. It's gorgeous! And, the packaging was out of this world. I'm not sure if it was because I purchased the duffle bag around the holiday season or if they always package the product this way, but in came in a beautiful red cloth bag. The bag is very soft and has a leather 'RedEnvelope' tag and a key chain/money clip attached to it. I love the added bonus! He gets a great duffle bag that will last a life time, and is something that can be handed down to our son, and I get a great cloth bag suitable for the holidays and a new key chain. Keep up the good work..."

"This is a great bag for the guy that has everything and travels a lot, like my husband. He loves this bag. I'm surprised by other negative comments I have read. The bag we received is great quality and very sturdy. He gets compliments on it all the time. It's the perfect weekender but can also fit plenty of clothes for several more days. I wish I could have one for myself."

"I received the bag as a gift about 2 years ago. I used the bag maybe 5 or 6 times for 1 night stays. 2 weeks ago the stitching around the zipper unraveled and the zipper fell off. The bag is now useless. I’m really disappointed. I would not recommend purchasing this bag."

"I purchased this bag a couple of years ago as a gift for my husband. He used it a handfull of times. On a recent trip, the stiching came apart. Red Envelope would not replace or repair this bag. They tell me they only stand by their products for 6 months. An item of this amount should have a longer warranty. Obviously they do not have faith in their own products. I won't be purchasing anything else from them, and I urge others not to as well."
