"I purchased this for my windowsill and all three herbs grew great! They got so big I had to keep cutting them back and even eventually transplanted the basil and oregano into larger pots. I am a novice gardener so I do not understand why this didn't work well for others. Maybe there was a bad batch of seeds? The pots are a bit small for when the plants get big but they do fit nicely on a windowsill. The only con I could give this is that the soil dries out quickly with larger plants do to the small pot so you have to keep it moist. I water almost daily. Other than that, great!"

"I sent this herb garden to a friend who lives in an apartment and is a skilled container gardener. The plants never grew, and as he has a window full of lush plants, I can only blame the product. It is a great idea that has to be reworked for success. I am requesting a refund from Red Envelope and will not ever send similar gift from this site."
