"Although I loved the idea of using recycled glass and the etching was very pretty, the water feeding part was not designed properly. The rubber stopper does not stay inside the bottle when you flip it over so it falls out immediately. Very disappointed."

"I received this feeder as a Christmas gift. Filled it up this week and watched the stopper come out each time I filled it. Though it's a beautiful piece of artwork, the hummingbirds will never get a chance to use it as it doesn't hold the nectar."

My favorite feeder of all... February 23, 2012
"I have had this feeder in red for about a year and it has been my favorite one of all I have owned. This morning tho, I went to wash it and the round hangar broke into many pieces....there is no way to hang it any longer. It is made of a thick glass so I would still say buy it...it is beautiful!!! I am brokenhearted that it broke as that part of it (that broke) did not even touch anything in the sink as it was laying on its side...so please be careful if you do order this...it is just to expensive to buy another one."

"Beautiful heavy glass. Nice etching. We haven't hung it outside yet, wrong time of year. I'm a litle anxious about it being outside in any kind of wind because of the hook and glass loop it is hung by."

Stopper doesn't seal January 18, 2012
"The handblown glass feeder is beautiful but the opening was irregular. Consequently the stopper didn't seal the opening and nectar drips out. Hopefully the replacement that Red Envelope is sending will not have that same defect!"

lovely item for hummingbird aficionados I purchased this as a gift for my parents, who love hummingbirds. They already had a feeder, but it was plastic and cheap-looking. When they opened their gift, they were delighted! The artisan glass and etched design are beautiful. It now hangs in their garden and I'm thinking about purchasing another color to go along with the aqua one. Very happy with this gifted purchase!
