"i purchased this as a gift for my husband i went to wrap it and when i opened the shipping box it came in i was suprised to see that it was all in small parts and in seperate little boxes so i couldnt even wrap it nicely! it doesnt present its self at all well for a gifting situation i was very dissappointed"

"I received this product and the first one was missing a drill hole, which was a huge pain because just getting all of the pieces out of the box is hassle enough. Received the replacement and it had a defective screw! Was finally able to put it together, using the nondefective pieces from both packages (after having to repack and return the close to 30 lb package already) the metal piece on the second one holding the hanger snapped in half while holding only a light suit coat!! Not worth the hassle to put together, repack and return TWICE and not at all worth the cheap parts."

"I helped my mom pick this out as a Christmas gift for my fiance. We were a little skeptical of the quality and ease of assembly based on the reviews, but he put it together 1-2-3. The valet thus far seems to be of high quality--it's heavy, sturdy, etc. He has used it every day so far and it helps him get his morning routine set the night before. Recommended!"

"Hoping this would end throwing pants and sweaters onto the floor... I knew that its functionality would depend on the user's efforts. So far, its best function is for me to select the outfit for the evening out, and display it on the valet. It's nice and heavy, but I had trouble with the tiny screws, and had to enlist a handyman who stopped in to fix a few other things. He had a magnetic screwdriver which worked wonders."

"I got this for my husband for his 50th birthday. I joked with him that he had to put it together, which he didn't mind. The instructions were very clear and he had it assembled in about 20 minutes. It is solidly built (very sturdy) and he likes the convenience of the tray on the top for all of his pocket stuff. It is worth the money -- your guy will love it!"

"I have purchased literally dozens of gifts for family and friends from Red Envelope over the years and just bought this item for my husband's birthday. I am very pleased with the product and it only took me 20-30 minutes to put together on my own and with five kids running around that is not always an easy thing! Good buy! I bought this for my husband's birthday. He opened it up and was able to put it together easily. Its simple lines looks great in the bedroom. We thought it might be too overbearing, but it doesn't. My husband loves putting his ring, watch, wallet and change in the top holder as soon as he enters the bedroom. He ends up having more room on his night stand. Very practical!
