"I bought them for my wife for Valentine's Day..She burned them a few times and took them down. She said you can not read the words with the way it burned and is not happy with them. I usually buy a few things a year from Red Envelope and have always been impressed with the purchases. Not this time!"

"These candles when burned did not illuminate the words. As they burned down there were scratches all over them that became visible and no words were visible. The edges caved in about 1/4 the way down. I was disappointed in the product. The wrapping and presentation though was beautiful."

"I received these as a gift last year and was so surprised when I opened the box. Had never seen anything like them before and I am a candle freak! Burn them all the time. I have not burned these yet, however, as I like the sayings and don't want them to melt! So I am not so not sure how they will burn but I would buy them for a friend or myself!! Great gift idea."

Just as pictured and great for my friend that is in need of some words of encouragement during her cancer treatment...she is sensitive to smell so the scentless candles were perfect!
